Your store reads product images from a URL — a web address that points directly to your photo. This guide explains how to upload a photo and get that URL.
How to upload a photo
- Go to
yoursite.com/wp-admin/media-new.phpin your browser - Log in using the username and password in your personal pack
- Click Select Files and choose the photo from your device
- Wait for the upload to complete — a thumbnail will appear when it’s done
- Click on [ Copy URL to clipboard ] beside your uploaded image
Find the image column for the product in your spreadsheet and paste (right-click and paste, or ctr+v, or cmd+v). That URL is now in the image column of your spreadsheet.
A few things worth knowing
- You can upload multiple photos at once by selecting more than one file
- Once uploaded, a photo stays in your media library permanently — you can reuse it any time without uploading it again
- If you need to find a photo you uploaded previously, go to
